A Garden Journal That Knows You Live in Florida

Florida gardens have their own rhythm. Summer heat, winter cold snaps, and planting windows that change from North Florida to South Florida can make a generic garden planner feel out of place.

I made The Florida Gardener’s Journal to give you one place to plan what goes in, record what comes out, and remember what actually worked in your garden.

Plan for Your Part of Florida

Each monthly overview includes separate planting suggestions for North, Central, and South Florida, organized by seeds, transplants, and slips or seed potato pieces. The lists draw on UF/IFAS guidance, with seasonal notes to help you plan around local conditions.

From cool-season vegetables to summer choices such as sweet potatoes and tropical greens, you’ll have options to consider throughout the year. Your county, weather, variety, and growing space still guide the final choice.
